Holmer Lake Primary School

I have been a teacher for 15 years and a leader for 14 of those years. The majority of my teaching career has been with Sandwell Council; I am delighted to now be a part of Telford and Wrekin Council.

As a teacher, I have taught across the primary phase from Reception to Year 6. As a leader, I have led several core subjects, including reading, writing, maths and science. I have high expectations of all staff and pupils in my care.

Holmer Lake is the third school that I have worked at since my career began in 2006. I have experience of school improvement, supporting my first school to improve from an Ofsted grade of inadequate to good and supporting my second school to improve its end of key stage two attainment and progress measures from inadequate to good.

I endeavour to offer Holmer Lake a breadth of skills as a teacher and a leader, ensuring that I always lead by example, with integrity and as a team member - a team that always puts the children first.
