Tammy Lockley

Co-Opted Governor

I am an experienced education leader and SEND specialist with over 20 years in teaching, school leadership, and consultancy. As a previous Head Teacher, I recognised the important role that Governors play in the leadership of a school. I believe Holmer Lake to be a caring, inclusive and supportive environment where children thrive, and am keen to be a part of this.  

My current role as a Regional SEND Co-ordinator with the West Midlands ADCS Network is to assist with packages of support for Local Authorities to prepare for the upcoming SEND reforms. SEND has always been a passion of mine and I am proud to be an advocate for all pupils achieving their potential, not just those with SEND.

Outside of work, I am studying SEND law, am an active runner with a running club of which I am the club secretary. I am also a keen gardener, and baker, bringing energy and enthusiasm to all aspects of my life.
